Richard took up his appointment as Chief Operating Officer in May 2008. He had previously been
Marketing Partner at Deloitte and before that was Partner in charge of Strategy Development &
Evolution at accountants and business advisers BDO Stoy Hayward.
Richard has worked in professional practices for 20 years. Before that he received a classic
brand marketing training at Rowntree (now Nestle). In addition to management consultancy he has
worked in the public sector and as a writer and producer of business films for organisations
including the FT and American Express.
