Our trainees are given real freedom, real responsibility and real opportunities. From day one you’ll be working with clients, meeting them at social events – and going to court. But you won’t just have hands-on experience… you’ll get hands-on, high quality support, too to provide just the right environment to foster learning, confidence building and the acquisition of skills.
All of our trainees are introduced to CareerBuilder as part of their pre-joining programme. This is RPC's unique Career Framework which sets out exactly what is expected of our lawyers as they develop their careers (from Trainee through every Career Level to Partner). Our Trainees find CareerBuilder invaluable as it enables them to map their personal progress against all the areas they need to develop. We use it to tailor personal development objectives and to focus regular feedback and we find that this really accelerates learning during the Training Contract, and beyond...
