RPC is a powerhouse in the insurance market, having supported the sector throughout the world for over 60 years.
Our service goes beyond simply advising on the law. Over a third of our claims practice involves working on international claims, using our network of specialist correspondent lawyers and through our offices in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Around two thirds of our 77 partners and 260 associates work for organisations in the insurance sector. Reflecting the insurance industry's own structure (rather than a law firm's interpretation of it) we developed our 'clients and markets' approach for both Claims and Corporate Insurance. We put ourselves into your shoes and think about the markets you service (and therefore the markets we serve).
Different lawyers here have responsibility for each of the clients and each of the markets. They then share business information across the whole group. This ensures accurate, relevant and targeted information is constantly flowing around the business, giving you a more streamlined, joined up and efficient service.

We have invested significantly to extend our offering and service to clients.
For example, we introduced a new Business Information Programme to streamline data collection and analysis. This includes an advanced online management information dashboard which allows partners to assess real time performance data and capacity, helping to drive efficiency by allocating resources smartly.
And our award-winning intranet, Edge – which employs social media and content aggregation tools such as wikis and blogs – brings about a more efficient way of working through increased transparency and collaboration, and consolidating the capability of our people by breaking down knowledge and technology silos.
