• Beazley – creation of the Falcon asset management business
• United House Developments – joint venture with Galileo Homes in relation to the acquisition and development of a £30m residential scheme in Fulham
• A&N Media – the consumer media business of Daily Mail and General Trust plc (DMGT), on the merger of its subsidiary, The Digital Property Group, with Zoopla Ltd pursuant to which A&N Media holds 55% of the combined property portals business
• SCA – £192m acquisition of AM Paper Group, $220m acquisition in two stages of Copamex’s central American tissue business and buy out of Mexican joint venture
