The application process

Number of vacancies
We have 15 training contract vacancies for September 2012 and will be
considering applications in the summer of 2010.
|
What we look for
We look for good academic achievement – at least eight high grade GCSEs, three
high grade A levels and a 2:1 degree awarded or predicted, or the equivalent
qualifications. But there’s more to it than that. We’re looking for confident,
ambitious individuals. Natural communicators with energy, leadership,
commitment and an awareness of the commercial world.
|
Who can apply
We welcome applications from penultimate year law students, final year non-law
students as well as candidates who have already graduated.
|
How to apply
You can apply for a training contract by accessing our online application form
here. If you have any problems applying online, please contact the
recruitment team on 020 3060 6000 or by email at
training@rpc.co.uk.
|
The deadline
Training contracts start in September each year and you need to apply two years
prior to your anticipated start date. The deadline for training contract
applications for 2012 is 31 July 2010.
|
Interview process
If your application is successful, you will be invited to a recruitment day in
September 2010. It’s a great chance for you to demonstrate your strengths and
helps us to make an objective selection.
There are a variety of written and oral exercises to help us select the best
candidates. It’s hard work, but fun. There’s the opportunity for you to meet
some of our partners, lawyers and trainees which helps you to make your own
assessment of what training with us would be like.
