The vacation scheme

We run summer vacation schemes each year so that potential trainees can sample life at RPC. Twelve students at a time spend two weeks with us, during which they will spend a week each in two different departments.

Our summer students are integrated as closely as possible with the real working life of the firm. There are opportunities to go to court, assist with research and draft documents. A series of talks provide information about RPC, our practice areas and our people. The social side of the firm will not be neglected either and there are plenty of opportunities to meet partners, lawyers and trainees in a relaxed atmosphere. You should get a good idea of whether a career at RPC is right for you. Our summer students are paid £275 per week.

Open days

Our open day programme runs alongside our vacation schemes and is designed to provide an alternative snapshot of the firm. The day gives you the opportunity to meet with a variety of people from across RPC and includes interactive sessions with our legal groups.

Who can apply

We welcome applications from penultimate year law students, final year non-law students as well as candidates who have already graduated.
