Documents needed at interview

At RPC, we ask all candidates to bring their right to work documents and proof of address details to final stage interviews. This is to establish eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.

The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 requires employers to check documents to establish a person's eligibility to work in the UK and compliance with any restrictions. Under the Act we are required to check your eligibility to work in the UK before you start work. We therefore ask all candidates to bring proof of their right to work to interview and a copy will be taken.

We also complete DBS checks for all employees as part of our pre-employment referencing. You will therefore be asked to bring a second form of identification to enable us to complete our referencing checks. We have partnered with VERO screening to complete these checks and further information regarding acceptable documentation can be found here

If you are successful at interview this documentation will be kept on your employee file. If you are not successful the documentation will be shredded and securely disposed of. If you forget to bring this documentation you will be asked to bring the original documents to RPC before an offer can be made. Please note that we will not commence any referencing checks without your explicit consent.
