We are excited to announce that the Gender Inclusion Network (GIN) for the insurance industry has joined forces with RPC's FIG Network (the Inclusive Insurance Network) present an exclusive mentoring series.

We have listened to your feedback, and we understand your desire for more opportunities to network with peers in the insurance industry and to build relationships with your counterparts. This mentoring initiative is designed to fulfil that need and will be conducted in two parts. See below for further information.
About FIG
Launched in April 2013 at RPC, FIG has consistently championed gender equality and is proud to have created a community of over 1,000 members. Each member benefits from access to top-tier training and networking events.
About GIN
The Gender Inclusion Network (GIN) is an insurance industry network aiming to achieve gender balance for all.
Part one: The power of mentoring (virtual session)
Date: Thursday, 19 September
Time: 1300-1400
Hosts: Caroline D'Souza, Director of Learning and Development at RPC, and Paul Welling, Senior Learning Manager at RPC
An online session during which participants will learn about the power of mentoring and the skills required to get the most out of a mentoring relationship. By the end of the session participants will:
- understand the power and benefits of mentoring
- have reflected on what makes a great mentoring relationship and how they might benefit from participating in a mentoring programme
- have considered and practised some the skills required by Mentors and Mentees to develop powerful mentoring relationships
Part two: speed mentoring event (in-person session)
Date: Wednesday, 23 October
Time: From 1700
Venue: RPC London, Tower Bridge House, St Katharine's Way, London E1W 1AA
A speed networking event where you will have five-minute conversations with potential mentors or mentees to assess compatibility for a mentoring relationship. This format is designed to facilitate multiple connections in a short period. Participants are encouraged to continue any mentoring relationships that are formed during the event
Additional details:
- drinks and nibbles will be provided after the speed mentoring session, there will be ample opportunity for further networking
- to participate in the in-person event, please indicate whether you would like to be a mentor or a mentee on the registration form
