'Coaching' is a term used frequently in sport and sometimes at work. But a coaching style has a positive effect wherever you use it, at work or at home. Coaching moves conversations forward, helps people to think differently and improves outcomes.
In this seminar, we will offer you the opportunity to develop your coaching style wherever you work or whatever your role.
- What coaching is and isn't and what it sounds and looks like
- Two key coaching skills: listening and being present
- Our favourite practical coaching tips
This session is delivered by our RPC L&D team, Ginny Powlson, Senior L&D Manager and Caroline de Souza, Head of Learning. Formerly responsible for the design of John Lewis' learning and now RPC's five sector focused learning programmes, Ginny has coached on a wide range of coaching subjects including line manager dilemmas, team productivity, confidence, career moves and personal brand. Her passion for coaching is centred around living in a changing world. Caroline's area of expertise is Management Development and Organisational Change within professional service firms. Experience has taught her that a coaching approach leads to more effective interactions with clients, colleagues and team members leading to collaborative working environments and, ultimately, commercial success.
