With support from our policy wording specialists, you will deliver products to market with the confidence that they meet every requirement.

When developing new insurance products, you need to work with policy experts who can collaborate with you on correct legal policy wording adhering to regulation as it evolves. RPC’s dedicated wordings team, led by Tamsin Hyland, will help you to achieve your goals efficiently every time.

“The Policy Wordings team provides a distinctive service by having a dedicated, specialist team of experts,” said a leading global insurer, “where wordings are the focus and not an add-on.”

The team possess a wealth of claims and technical drafting experience, and partners with colleagues from the Insurance Regulatory and Commercial specialists in the firm to deliver a comprehensive service. This includes oversight of governance issues, Consumer Duty, and FOS/FCA issues.

Our policy wording specialists will work with you on reviews of individual products, library consolidation projects and thematic reviews, as well as new product design and drafting. This work is conducted across mono-line and combined products for SME/mid-market, through to multi-national master programmes with jurisdictional intricacies.

In addition to project-based work, the team offers outsourced support to in-house legal functions and underwriting teams.
