Catherine is a dispute resolution lawyer with extensive experience in complex commercial disputes and with special focus and interest in corporate fraud and asset tracing.

Catherine has experience in handling a broad range of commercial litigation matters including debt recovery, contractual disputes, shareholders disputes, company-related proceedings, etc. She has handled and provided advice in relation to corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy matters in which she acts for liquidators, trustees in bankruptcy as well as creditors.

She regularly advises clients being victims of cyber-crime or corporate fraud and assists them in obtaining urgent injunction and disclosure orders as well as commencing civil actions and enforcement proceedings for recovery of funds.  

Catherine advises clients, including financial institutions, listed companies and their directors and employees in regulatory investigations involving the Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and in anti-corruption investigations involving the Independent Commission

Against Corruption.  She also advises accountancy firms and their senior officers regarding regulatory investigations by the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council.

Catherine has also defended professionals such as accountants and trustees in professional negligence claims.

Catherine is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
