Rachel Lord has over 16 years post qualification experience and helps clients with the full range of contentious, non-contentious and transactional employment work.
Rachel's passion is navigating routes through TUPE related problems. She has a particular focus on the employment aspects of corporate and commercial transactions. This covers matters from negotiating contractual provisions to advising on deal structures and on the collective information and consultation obligations.
Many of the projects she has advised on have included a cross-border element. Rachel is often asked to coordinate employment across various countries.
Rachel recently completed a six month secondment to Virgin Media in the role of Interim Head of Employment. While in this role she worked closely with the General Counsel, the business and the People Leadership Team for each of the four business areas and provided employment support on key strategic matters affecting the business.
