Stacey is an Associate solicitor in the Professional & Financial Risks team and part of RPC's Lawyers Liability and Regulatory Group. She specialises in defending claims for professional negligence primarily against solicitors, but also barristers. She also acts for company directors and officers in defence of claims made pursuant to D&O insurance, and advises insurers on PI and D&O policy coverage.
In 2021, Stacey completed a 6 month secondment in the Complex Claims (Financial Lines) team at AIG. She handled claims against a variety of professions, including solicitors, company directors & officers, financial advisory professionals, pension trustees and administrators and construction professionals. Stacey primarily dealt with claims in a coverage context and gained valuable experience in interpreting policy terms and conditions and determining policy coverage.
Before joining RPC, Stacey gained three years' litigation experience in the fields of commercial disputes and contentious construction.
During her training contract, Stacey completed seats in dispute resolution, residential property and commercial property. She qualified as a solicitor in April 2018.
