Tamsin is an experienced insurance lawyer specialising in professional indemnity claims, financial lines coverage matters and the drafting and development of insurance policies and wordings.
Tamsin is routinely instructed on behalf of insurers, mutuals and MGAs in relation to claims, regulatory and disciplinary matters.
She has acted for a wide range of insured professionals and educational institutions and has a special interest in defending claims against lawyers arising out of contentious probates or will drafting errors or against rural/agricultural professionals including land agents and agronomists.
She has a busy practice advising insurers in relation to policy response (including fraudulent claims), and issues involving the interpretation of insurance wordings under professional risk policies but also D&O, fidelity/crime, liability and property.
Tamsin is often instructed to assist in the design and development of insurance wordings, including bespoke risk solutions, endorsements, and pre-contract literature for insurers.
She regularly provides training and support to underwriters and claims teams on wording developments, legal updates and risk management.
