City law firm RPC advises NYSE-listed Allison Transmission on its acquisition of an electric vehicle technology specialist, Vantage Power

London-based Vantage Power is an award-winning company specialising in developing electrified and connected technologies for manufacturers and tier one suppliers of heavy-duty vehicles. Vantage Power focuses particularly on battery packs, controls systems, next generation telemetry and system design and integration expertise.

 Allison Transmission is the largest global manufacturer of medium and heavy-duty fully automatic transmissions, and has more than 100 years of leading technological advancements in its sector. Founded in 1915 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, it employs around 2,900 people worldwide, has regional headquarters in Europe, Asia and South America, and has a market presence in more than 80 countries.

 RPC’s transaction team was led by Corporate Partner Tim Anderson and Senior Associate Jason Varney, with the support of a combined team of specialist technology lawyers.
