RPC secures highly-regarded commercial disputes Partner in Hong Kong

Charles Allen, former Head of Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Hong Kong, joins the team at RPC

In a major boost for its Hong Kong team and wider Asia-Pacific disputes offering, RPC has welcomed leading commercial disputes Partner Charles Allen, who joined on 19 June.

Allen, a versatile disputes lawyer, has almost 25 years’ experience conducting high-value complex dispute resolution in the Asia Pacific region.  

Ranked as a leading individual by Chambers Asia Pacific, he has a strong profile in the local market and supports clients in domestic and cross-border litigation, as well as in international arbitrations.  His experience covers a wide range of disputes before the Hong Kong courts as well as in other jurisdictions around the region, including China, Singapore and India.

Allen will add significant experience and bandwidth to the already well-established disputes practice in Hong Kong. He will be working closely with Partner Jonathan Crompton who focuses on financial markets disputes and regulatory, as well as financial technology regionally.
