RPC is sponsoring the Instech2020 conference, at the BT Centre on Wednesday July 11th - an industry-leading event showcasing and discussing the technology at the forefront of the insurance industry.

Instech2020 is being attended by some of the industry’s biggest insurers, start-ups, disruptors and investors. The conference will feature speeches, debates, and workshops led by senior executives and innovators from the insurance and technology sectors.

RPC will explore critical areas within InsurTech including, among others, the industry’s shift to automation, cyber security, and how best to implement technology in an insurance business.

RPC’s market-leading insurance expertise is combined with its award-winning technology and data teams to help businesses on all their InsurTech requirements. RPC advises on a range of areas, including investment in InsurTech, protecting intellectual property, and regulatory authorisations and permissions. RPC is also the provider of ReSecure, the cyber breach response service, which has won multiple industry awards.

RPC will be involved three different events throughout the day, run by:

  • Richard Breavington, Partner and Head of RPC’s ReSecure data breach response service, will be chairing a discussion looking at how Lloyds is digitalising their practices, and the future role of automated cars in the insurance world.
  • Nicola Cain, Partner, who will run an interactive workshop called “Data breaches- a clear and present danger", based on a cyber-breach scenario within an InsurTech company.
  • Paul Joukador, Partner, will be a panellist discussing how insurance businesses are collecting and analysis data. He will also be chairing sessions including what technology ideas have really worked and how you can successfully implement them.

Richard Breavington, Partner at RPC, comments: “We are thrilled to be at the centre of Instech2020 - an event that promises to shed light on just how essential the role of technology is in the insurance industry.”

“With a host of roundtables and interactive events throughout the day, we hope that all those attending will leave with a greater understanding of how they use InsurTech to their advantage.”
