Rachael Ellis

Rachael Ellis is part of the commercial group, advising clients on a range of commercial contracts with particular emphasis on data protection, e-commerce and compliance with GDPR.
She is helping a number of clients with their GDPR compliance projects, including stress-testing existing policies and procedures.
Rachael has particular experience of the financial services sector, conducting terms of business and agreement reviews, providing perimeter advice on the FCA handbook and advising on systemic risks, such as regulated complaints.
Rachael joined RPC in 2014, and was on secondment at a multinational sports retailer, overseeing a portfolio of brands and working on a range of licence, sponsorship and marketing agreements.

- Drafting multiple firms' client intermediary agreements in preparation for MiFID II
- Advising on investment management firms' distribution of retail investment products and services via intermediaries (including robo-advice)
- Advising on 'conduct regulation' including issues and strategy in relation to regulated complaints and TCF
- Giving perimeter advice on what constitutes a regulated product or service
