Abel is an Associate in the Commercial Disputes team.

Abel is a litigation and arbitration lawyer, specialising in commercial and civil disputes. He also has a growing practice in regulatory compliance and investigations.

As part of his litigation portfolio, Abel has acted for clients in a variety of sectors, both locally and internationally, in complex cross-border commercial and civil disputes before all levels of the Singapore Courts. He also has experience in arbitration proceedings administered under the SIAC Rules.

Abel is a versatile disputes lawyer who is developing experience in a wide array of contentious matters. His experience includes acting for clients in commercial contractual and lease disputes, intellectual property disputes, banking disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, regulatory compliance and conspiracy claims. He has a particular focus on corporate disputes and has represented clients in matters pertaining to shareholder disagreements, breaches of directors' duties, minority oppression and tenancy disputes.

Abel is fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Melayu.
