RPC advises Aviva on its acquisition of Probitas and return to Lloyd's

International law firm RPC has advised Aviva on its acquisition of Probitas, marking Aviva's return to Lloyd's of London after 24 years.

The acquisition of Probitas will diversify and expand the footprint of Aviva's Global Corporate and Specialty operations.

The transaction is subject to customary approvals.

Commenting on the transaction, RPC Partner, James Mee, said: "We were delighted to work with Aviva and other advisers on this exciting transaction which will see Aviva re-enter the Lloyd's market. This transaction required great collaboration amongst all involved and huge credit goes to the Aviva team."
