This is a firm like no other. A place where you can be you. At RPC, you’ll be free to express your personality in an environment that’s collaborative and forward-thinking, and where personality counts. A firm whose service came first in Legal Week’s ‘Best Legal Adviser Report’ and where new ideas can flourish.
Of course, you don't have to take our word for it. Instead, you could read our entry in Legal Cheek 2018:
"The firm that acted for the claimants in the landmark case of Pyrrho Investments v MWB Property, which saw the use of artificial intelligence-derived ‘predictive coding’ in document review approved by the English courts for the first time, is one of the most bold and experimental in the City."
Alternatively, you could read about us in Lex 100 2018/19 where people people spoke of the firm as being “friendly and very relaxed”, of our "modern approach" and how we're "not afraid to change things."
We offer offer top quality legal services across numerous industry sectors: everything from corporate/M&A to commercial litigation. Our Insurance Group has a growing reputation for handling large, high-profile claims. And what’s more, we've launched a new consulting business, established a Centre for Legal Leadership and helped to found TerraLex, a leading global legal network. Meanwhile, our lawyers are regular commentators on key issues in the legal sector.
Life at RPC
We all know work’s important. But we think downtime’s vital too. That’s why you can enjoy all kinds of activities and a real social life. It’s not just drinks after work (although that certainly happens). It’s eating out, sports teams, exploring culture and singing your heart out in our choir.
Inclusion & Diversity
We want RPC to be a place where everyone is free to be themselves. In fact, it's imperative to our success. That's why we don't just pay lip service to diversity and inclusion. We take concrete steps to create a culture where everyone feels welcome.
Internally, we have a number of networks, including allies@RPC. This is our all-encompassing allies network, which spans our UK and Asia offices, and focuses on a different topic every six months. Meanwhile, RPC RAIN, the firm's LGBT+ network, covers the firm's London and Bristol offices, and advocates for inclusion in the workplace.
We also work to build a positive environment through relationships with key external organisations. RPC partners with the Aspiring Solicitors, 30% Club, Business in the Community, Cityparents, Stonewall, InterLaw and The University of Law. Plus you'll find us at events such as DiversCity in Law.
Corporate Social Responsibility
For us, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is supporting the communities and businesses around us. We’re involved in mentoring schemes for students at schools in deprived areas. We also work with local businesses to help them thrive, and take part in physical challenges to help raise money. And by planting 10,735 trees, we’ve offset our environmental impact after a move to a new building.
Our efforts extend to helping our own people here at RPC too. We offer employees a tax-free bike for the journey to work. Meanwhile, we love to support extra-curricular activities such as the fantastic RPC choir. Here, CSR is something you'll see every day.
