Marcus Knight is an insurance lawyer with over 20 years of experience in handling complex, high value coverage disputes across a broad range of classes.

These include financial institutions, professional indemnity, casualty, pharma, D&O, crime, property, construction and reinsurance - many of them involving major market-wide exposures. 

He has considerable expertise in litigation, arbitration (including Bermuda Form), and mediation; also in negotiating commercial settlements.

Marcus also has significant defence work experience, including a major investment management dispute. 

High profile matters in which Marcus has been involved include the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the ongoing subprime mortgage securities litigation, the collapse of Enron and the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center.
