Stephen is an Associate in the Professional & Financial Risks team.

Stephen specialises in directors' and officers' liability claims. He also advises in relation to coverage disputes and investigations.

Stephen was Called to the Bar in both South Africa and England and Wales. His South African practice was geared towards complex and high value matters, several of which were multi-jurisdictional. Many of his matters involved aspects of company law, and in particular breaches by directors and other office holders of their fiduciary duties. Before joining RPC, Stephen completed his pupillage at Maitland Chambers, where he assisted in a range of commercial Chancery work both in the English courts and offshore, the latter including an appeal from the BVI to the Privy Council.
