Zoe specialises in defending claims against professionals with a particular focus on claims against solicitors, barristers and construction professionals.

Zoe has acted for leading market insurers and their insured professionals since qualifying in 2012.  She defends a wide range of professionals, including solicitors, barristers, accountants, brokers and construction professionals.  Zoe deals with both pre-action and litigated claims, and often employs formal and informal ADR techniques to settle claims.  Zoe has experience in disputes with a wide range of values and has acted in the defence of complex, multi-party claims.

Zoe also undertakes professional regulatory work including advising professionals on disciplinary and regulatory investigations. 

Zoe regularly advises insurers on policy response in claims against both solicitors and construction professionals and has arbitrated claims between market insurers. 

Zoe undertook an 18-month secondment at a leading market insurer where she dealt with a high volume of claims and was in regular contact with the underwriting team.  This was invaluable insight into the working life of a claims handler and the insurance industry, which has allowed Zoe to understand the needs of her insurer clients and how she can best assist them.  

Zoe enjoys providing training to clients and regularly write articles on recent developments for the insurance sector.
