Alex Pollock

Alex is an Associate in RPC's Media team.

Alex specialises in defending media organisations and publishers in defamation, privacy and data protection claims, and also provides pre-publication advice to various print media clients. 

He has worked closely alongside Alex Vakil for several years defending MGN Limited in the long-running Mirror Newspapers Hacking Litigation.  He previously spent 12 months on secondment at MGN Limited's parent company, Reach Plc, between 2020 and 2021. 

He is also experienced in advising and assisting corporate clients' with their non-contentious responses to data subject access requests.
