James Ainsworth

Senior Associate

James Ainsworth is a Senior Associate in the Professional & Financial Risks team. He specialises in defending claims against solicitors, acting on behalf of solicitors and their professional indemnity insurers.

Handling a range of matters, from low value to larger, complex, high value disputes, James also deals with investigations by the SRA and provides coverage advice.

Before joining RPC, James gained several years' experience pursuing professional negligence claims against a variety of professionals, resolving such claims either through ADR, litigation or at trial as necessary. He also has substantial experience of employment and contract based litigation, retaining a particular interest in claims arising out of such matters.

 During his training contract James undertook seats in Commercial Property and Advocacy, before qualifying into Professional Negligence.
