Jani advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious commercial, IP and technology matters, with a particular focus on soft IP (copyright, trade marks and designs), technology and emerging technology, such as artificial intelligence.

Jani is experienced in advising on contentious and non-contentious matters relating to intellectual property, specifically copyright, trade marks and passing off, design rights and confidential information.

He has been involved in litigation across the County Courts, High Court, and the Court of Appeal in relation to commercial matters and intellectual property disputes.

Jani also has undertaken a client secondment at Frasers Group, where he assisted the in-house legal team with a wide array of legal and commercial matters, including IP licencing, disputes and commercial contracts.
