Leonia Chesterfield is a senior lawyer in RPC's Competition team, specialising in disputes including collective proceedings.
Leonia joined RPC in 2021. She brings with her several years' worth of prior CMA experience where she worked across Litigation, Mergers and Policy teams. Leonia also represented the UK's interests at the OECD's Competition Committee.
Leonia's broad expertise spans regulatory investigations, antitrust litigation, mergers and consumer law. She has led litigation and carried out dawn raids on behalf of the authority. Leonia has previously worked on digital policy issues and consumer redress with BEIS.
Before RPC, Leonia held the role of General Counsel at a successful fintech start up (FCA recognised). Starting out as a litigator in the City, Leonia has an MA in Competition Law (King's College London) and a Maîtrise in French Law (the Sorbonne).
