“Often, I become the go-to person for clients with discrete queries”

“As an experienced litigator, I’ve worked on matters ranging from local County Court cases through to the Court of Appeal, as well as international jurisdictions. Some of these outcomes have been determined by the courts to be legal precedents. I also have significant in-house experience, which gives me a detailed understanding of best practice when working with clients.

I’m a specialist in content disputes and regulation, and strive to handle everything with a smile and an unshakably calm attitude. That’s why clients repeatedly refer to me as a ‘safe pair of hands’ - someone who aims to resolve disputes in a principled, yet commercial and pragmatic manner.
Often, I become the go-to person – or a sounding board – for clients with discrete queries. They’re happy to call or email me in the knowledge that they’ll soon receive a timely response.”

Maf’s recent work highlights:

Regularly advising and acting for a technology company on claims arising from users of its service.

Advising a financial services company on complaints arising from processing of personal data within UK GDPR legislation.

Acting for national newspapers on high-profile privacy and defamation disputes.
