Matthew has nearly 20 years' experience as an IP lawyer, with an expert knowledge in patent litigation. He also has experience of FRAND licensing disputes.
His work covers a wide range of technology and industry sectors, including telecommunications, electronics, cryptography, mechanical devices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
He has a PhD in biochemistry, specialising in quantum enzymology, giving him a keen understanding of the technology and life sciences sectors.
Matthew has also worked in-house as a senior counsel at a multinational pharmaceutical company, giving him a further insight into the commercial pressures facing large companies in complex patent disputes.
