Pu Fang is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Disputes team.

Pu Fang handles a broad range of non-contentious and contentious matters within the areas of technology, media, intellectual property & digital assets, as well as data protection. She regularly advises clients on the regulatory aspects of technology and media, licensing of intellectual property, as well as compliance with data protection laws, and has experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for businesses in various industries.

Amongst other things, Pu Fang has advised media and technology companies on the regulatory aspects of their product and service offerings, and has experience reviewing and drafting various software and service agreements. In the intellectual property sphere, she has experience acting for clients in both the commercialisation and enforcement of their intellectual property-related rights in Singapore and around the region, and has also advised and assisted various brands with the management and strategy of their intellectual property on a global level.

With a focus on providing well-rounded legal services to clients, Pu Fang has also advised and acted for clients in matters relating to employee relations and disputes, with a focus on restraint of trade clauses and the misappropriation of confidential information by former employees. She has experience with reviewing and drafting contracts of employment and company policies. 

Pu Fang is qualified as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She is based in Singapore and practices out of Premier Law LLC.

  • Advised a multinational media entertainment and media company on compliance with Singapore personal data protection laws in relation to a broad range of matters, including but not limited to the handling of customer’s personal data for an OTT media service, the adoption of GDPR requirements as a baseline, employee privacy policy, content management platform for the use of cookies, diversity and inclusion surveys, as well as the implementation of a global human resource database.
