Peter Mansfield has over two decades' experience helping clients navigate through some of the most complicated disputes.
Peter specialises in claims against construction professionals, solicitors and surveyors. He also regularly advises on policy coverage issues, particularly those that arise from design & construct policies.
Recent cases include an £11m adjudication involving a solar farm, claims against a D&C contractor and an engineer for undermining neighbouring properties on two different sites, a claim against an architect because a property was not constructed in accordance with the planning permission and a series of claims involving the failure to discover asbestos or contaminated land.
Peter was co-author of the Professional Negligence Pre-Action Protocol and wrote the chapter on claims notification in the textbook "Insurance Broking Practice and the Law".
He is an accomplished public speaker.
