RPC wins Luxury Deal of the Year at Luxury Law Awards 2020

Law firm RPC has been awarded Luxury Deal of the Year at the Luxury Law Awards 2020.

The Luxury Law Awards each year recognize the law firms, in-house legal teams, deals, individuals, and lifetime achievements required to guide a luxury business or brand to profitable success. 

RPC's retail team has been awarded the prestigious Luxury Deal of the Year for advising Stella McCartney in her buyout of her existing joint venture arrangements with Kering and the subsequent entry into a new partnership with LVMH Moët Hennessy. The Luxury Law Awards judges highlighted it as "a complex deal and one of the most high-profile deals last year".

The retail team was led by partner Paul Joukador, who was closely assisted by RPC specialists in corporate finance, IP, commercial contracts, banking and competition law in supporting the fashion house complete one of the most transformative luxury fashion deals in recent years.
