Marine insurance

Recognised as one of the best in Asia, our Marine Insurance team can ease the burden by taking on any issue you're facing.

Based out of Singapore, our regional team offers support on coverage, defence and recoveries arising across all classes of marine business and policy types.

With unrivalled working knowledge of products, wordings, claims handling and coverage issues in all of the marine sub-classes - be it direct business or reinsurance - we can help.

We provide advice across the full spectrum of marine insurance - cargo, hull and machinery/increased value, war, LOH, builders risks, P&I, FD&D, freight forwarding, warehouse and storage/stock throughput, and ports and terminals. We also have extensive experience on issues such as kidnap and ransom, terrorism, wreck removal, and strikes and lockouts.

Coverage is one thing. Where RPC's team adds further value to the bottom line is on subrogation. We have the most active marine subrogation teams in Asia. Our regional knowledge and lawyer network - together with our efficient recovery assessment process - enables RPC to give insurers/reinsurers quick, tenacious and realistic advice.

Where we need to work alongside lawyers in other jurisdictions, we call upon our international best friend network of law firms to provide local expertise. This helps us ensure we find the right local lawyer for the job thereby keeping cost and indemnity spend down.
