Focusing on high value and complex disputes, Antony Sassi is a leading litigator in the Hong Kong market.
Antony is also the Managing Partner of our Asia Practice.
Antony has a particular focus on defending professionals and D&Os in respect of a myriad of tortious and contractual claims and advising more broadly on financial lines related matters. He has handled some of the largest claims in Asia over the last few years against various professionals, including: lawyers (solicitors and barristers), accountants, property agents, architects and other construction professionals.
He has extensive experience acting for D&Os facing exposure arising from allegations relating to breach of fiduciary duties, negligent mismanagement, misappropriation of company funds, misrepresentation and deceptive or inaccurate disclosures.
He also regularly advises clients on regulatory investigations and disciplinary matters, as well as on broader risk management issues.
He is President of the HK Insurance Law Association and sits on the Law Society Insurance Committee.
Antony has been ranked in Band 1 for leading individuals in Chambers Asia since 2011, and is named in the “Who’s Who” legal directory and Euromoney’s guide to the world’s leading lawyers
