International law firm RPC will host London seminar series with global partners from 7 to 9 March

Complex litigation, ESG claims and digital risks are all on the agenda for Global Access Week, hosted by international law firm RPC.

The three-day seminar series, which takes place in London from 7 to 9 March, features leading legal experts discussing the most pressing issues faced by insurers in today's ever-changing world.

Global Access Week features informed debate on topics such as:

  • How to manage both the parties and the market in complex litigation cases
  • The need to evolve Director and Officer (D&O) insurance in the face of ESG risks, as claims, regulation and compliance come to the fore
  • Why the 'E' of ESG is on the rise and what insurers need to know about environmental claims of the future
  • How technology is rapidly changing our world and presenting new risks, including cryptocurrencies and the metaverse

In addition to the seminars, there will be networking opportunities to meet with participating partners from Global Access Lawyers.

Launched in May 2021, Global Access provides its insurer clients easy access to recognised insurance law specialists across the globe.

The six firms – comprising RPC (UK), Colin Biggers & Paisley (Australia), Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP (USA), HMN & Partners (France), Kennedy Van der Laan (Netherlands) and Miller Thomson (Canada) - have 43 offices and more than 2,000 lawyers between them.

Simon Laird
, Global Head of Insurance at RPC, says: “Climate change, ESG, and rapidly developing technologies are front and centre of emerging risks, presenting insurers with both opportunities, as well as very real challenges.

"Global Access Week is a unique opportunity to hear from and network with leading insurance lawyers grappling with the most complex issues from across the world today."

Registration is now open for Global Access Week sessions: Tuesday, 7 March to Thursday, 9 March, 12pm to 2pm. Venue details available for registered participants.
