Thom is a Partner and a recognised specialist in UK Casualty matters and General Liability advisory work. He has over 15 years' experience supporting clients with: coverage, legal defence and operational strategies with regard to claims and risk management.

As a Partner in our General Liability team, Thom has a particular interest in catastrophic injury and fatal accident claims and deals with claims of the utmost severity. 

Thom's practice is focused on the London Market, where he is noted for his authentic human approach and focus on straight-forward solutions to complex matters.  Thom's client base includes international insurers, brokers, adjustors, large corporates (Retail, Leisure & Hospitality) and HNW individuals. 

Thom is regularly instructed in respect of complex claims, often with a highly sensitive or media angle, as he is well regarded for his empathetic support toward reputational management for clients.

He also has appreciable experience of advising on a host of casualty related coverage issues and wordings.  

Building upon insights developed from a host of secondments undertaken throughout his career, Thom regularly delivers seminars and prepares bespoke trainings to both insurance and corporate clients.
