The move is driven by growing client demand and the firm's ambition to grow its award-winning international Technology practice to support its clients' commercial needs.

"Nicholas' arrival is of strategic importance as we look to build out our award-winning Technology practice led globally by Jeremy Drew spanning across RPC's four offices. We are continuing to see an uptick in our clients' ambitions to unlock new opportunities as Singapore continues to grow as a commercial tech hub in the region. I have no doubt Nicholas will be a real asset in supporting our clients to achieve their ambitions."

RPC's Head of Commercial Jeremy Drew added: "Nicholas' pedigree as a leading Technology lawyer in Singapore complements our highly-regarded Technology practice, which has become a commercial powerhouse, supporting our clients with all their commercial needs. Our Commercial group has added six new Partners since the beginning of the year with ambitious plans for further growth. Nicholas' hire reflects our commitment to focus on growing our number of clients in the TMT sector across the globe."

Nicholas said: "RPC has offered me an exciting platform to build-out my practice and work within a leading Technology group underpinned by a brilliant group of talented lawyers that are commercial, people-focused and collaborative at their core."

Nicholas is the eighth new Partner joining the firm in the last seven months (Arash Rajai, Reshma Raja (General Counsel & Partner), Shai Wade, Tania Williams, Mike Newham, Rathi Thiagamoorthy and Peter Kwon) across its Commercial and Insurance Groups, as well as promoting ten new Partners to the Partnership in May.
